Business Continuity Plan

Meridian Equity Partners, Inc. (the "Firm") maintains a Business Continuity Plan ("BCP") in accordance with FINRA Rule 4370. The provisions of this rule require the Firm to summarize its plan to advise our customers should the Firm suffer a significant business disruption.

The Firm is an Introducing Broker and as such does not maintain custody of customers’ funds or securities. Further, all of the Firm’s public customers are on an RVP/DVP basis. Our clearing firm is ICBC Financial Services which has given us access to their BCP in order to assure that we can contact the appropriate people to verify that there are no problems on past trades or deliveries.

Contacting us - If after a significant business disruption you cannot contact us as you usually do at (212) 742-8472, you should call our alternative numbers (516-595-7102, 914-301-9428, 908-956-6168 or 802-457-7341 ) or look for information at www.nyse.com or www.meptraders.com. If you cannot access us through either of those means, you should contact our clearing firm, ICBC Financial Services, at www.ICBKFS.com for instructions on how they may, to the extent practicable under the circumstances, provide prompt access to information with respect to transactions for our customers in the event of a significant business disruption.

Varying Disruptions - Significant business disruptions can vary in their scope, such as only our firm, a single building housing our firm, the business district where our firm is located, the city where we are located, or the whole region. The firm operates on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

Our clearing firm ICBC Financial Services backs up our important records in a geographically separate area. While every emergency situation poses unique problems based on external factors, such as time of day and the severity of the disruption, we have been advised by our clearing firm that their objective is to restore their own operations and be able to complete existing transactions and accept new transactions within the same business day. Your orders and requests for executions could be delayed during this period.
